After graduation from The University of Texas at Austin, Rick moved to New York City where he worked for a large Architectural/Engineering firm and later worked as an Assistant at The Cooper Union School of Architecture in Manhattan. He became a licensed insurance agent in Florida in 1998. In 2000, he put his knowledge of the Architectural and Engineering worlds together with his experience as a licensed insurance agent and joined the Suncoast team as a producer, providing Professional Liability Insurance to design firms in South Florida. Rick is a member of the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN) and provides contract review services, as well as teaching continuing education courses for the design industry.
